Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior Security Analyst to support the protection, compliance, and operational security of eDynamic Learning’s technology ecosystem.
In this role, you will assist in security investigations, access management, compliance tracking, and application security assessments. You’ll collaborate with engineering, IT, and vendor partners to implement security best practices and support initiatives across the company.
This position is ideal for individuals with a solid technical foundation in cybersecurity, SIEM tools, mobile and endpoint security management, and hands-on experience with identity, access, and documentation workflows.

Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior Security Analyst to support the protection, compliance, and operational security of eDynamic Learning’s technology ecosystem.
In this role, you will assist in security investigations, access management, compliance tracking, and application security assessments. You’ll collaborate with engineering, IT, and vendor partners to implement security best practices and support initiatives across the company.
This position is ideal for individuals with a solid technical foundation in cybersecurity, SIEM tools, mobile and endpoint security management, and hands-on experience with identity, access, and documentation workflows.
Responsibilities
- Review suspicious emails and alerts; analyze potential phishing or malicious activity and create new email protection rules in Sublime
- Support secure user lifecycle management by reviewing, verifying, and maintaining application and system access permissions
- Develop clear documentation, training materials, and user guidance for new security initiatives, policies, and secure practices
- Coordinate penetration testing activities, including scheduling, data collection, communication with third-party vendors, and follow-up tracking
- Conduct application security reviews and assist in evaluating vendor security documentation, questionnaires, and reports
- Support compliance efforts by maintaining documentation and evidence within compliance tracking platforms
- Assist with endpoint and cloud security operations, including identity management, authentication enforcement, and configuration reviews
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to support secure deployments, vulnerability remediation, and incident response readiness
- Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity or equivalent experience
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory, Okta, SharePoint, Teams, and O365 administration
- Familiarity with SIEM platforms; experience analyzing logs and identifying security events from lab and academic environments
- Working knowledge of IDS/IPS, and vulnerability assessment techniques
- Understanding of Linux, Windows, and macOS security fundamentals and secure configuration principles
- Ability to document processes, procedures, and policies
- Experience supporting onboarding/offboarding workflows, access provisioning, and user security hygiene
- Experience supporting help desk or IT operations environments (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
- Exposure to virtualized environments (VMware, VirtualBox, Docker) and cloud security concepts
- Participation in cybersecurity labs, hands-on exercises, or academic projects involving threats, vulnerabilities, and network defense
- Experience using compliance software (Drata, Vanta)
- Legally eligible to work in Canada and/or the U.S
- Strong communicator capable of teaching, documenting, and explaining security concepts to technical and non-technical teams
- Proven ability to collaborate across multiple teams and manage competing priorities in a remote environment
- Detail-oriented, process-driven, and eager to learn and grow within a cybersecurity team
